Muffled footsteps are a welcome break from reliving her memories, before she hears the rattling of keys in a lock. Here we go again. With an earpiercing scratch, a gust of cold air envelopes Elyna like an unwelcome blanket. “What is it today, then? Arcane fire? Broken fingers?” Her voice echoes in the room as the footsteps rush towards her. “Well, someone’s in a hur-” -- A shush interupts her quickly as her shackles unlock. Arms wrapped around her in a tight embrace are the only prevention of her plummeting forwards without the support of her chains. A whisper’s breath touches her ear. “Elyna.” Words, now stuck in her throat as her mind races through her thoughts. Tears get her choked up, caught by the cloth covering her face. "No. No, you can’t be here. , you should’ve stayed out. This place isn’t-”

In a world where the artificial grows rapidly, craft becomes something sacred.

But that's not where my story began. My story pre-dates the public internet. It started with a chalkboard and some chalk, drawing a crow as a young lad. From there, my creative outbursts continued. In school I found a love for story telling, and being allowed to take photos with a real camera on a school trip exposed me to another creative branch to explore. Creativity has allowed me to express myself, cope with difficult life-events and understand myself.
